Hi there!
I'm Jellytempo, an instagram artist whose main medium is pixel art. My name is inspired by the combination of things that calm me: kawaii culture and lo-fi music.
Some of my earliest memories include sitting on my front porch trading Pokémon cards with my classmates who lived down the street and not being able to sleep after watching Hayao Miyazaki's newly released Spirited Away movie.
My love for lo-fi music emerged while studying industrial engineering at university. Calming beats were the only thing I could listen to before taking difficult exams.
As an adult in her quarter-life crisis, I have rediscovered my childhood hobbies to cope. Reimagining the best parts of my childhood in pixels brings me so much joy, which is why I share my art. I hope my art can inspire you too to see the world in the way you once did as a child.
